Shanelle centers her practice on the belief that we should always strive to 'leave people better off than we found them.' With a compassionate and down-to-earth approach, she creates a space where authenticity, empathy, humor, and respect guide the therapeutic relationship. Whether working with teens, adults, or individuals from diverse backgrounds, she is committed to helping clients navigate their unique challenges and find growth and healing.
Shanelle is flexible in her therapeutic approach, tailoring each session to meet the specific needs of her clients. Clients searching for support with a wide range of concerns, including relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, ADHD symptoms, self-esteem/identity and values work, as well as recovery from narcissistic trauma are in good hands. Additionally, Shanelle supports faith and spirituality work, as well as exploration of family relationships, enmeshment and how parent-child bonds can impact us as adults. No matter the concern, Shanelle aims to provide a compassionate and individualized approach to each person she works with.
In addition to her broad experience, Shanelle holds a certificate in Attachment Repair Processing Theory, bringing specialized knowledge to her practice. As an MNBC (Métis Nation British Columbia) citizen, she brings a deep respect for diverse perspectives and lived experiences. Her cultural background and professional expertise allow her to support clients with a unique, holistic understanding of their individual journeys.
