I provide a safe space for you to share your story and reflect, to feel your emotions, develop new skills and overcome limiting patterns. You may be experiencing loss or a life transition. You may struggle with self-esteem, body image, gender identity, or recognizing your needs and boundaries. You may be queer or neurodiverse and want an affirming and inclusive therapist who can help you cope with stress and issues related to your identity. Alternatively, you may be facing relationship challenges such as issues with attachment, communication or codependency. Perhaps you suffer from PTSD or C-PTSD and need to process it.
I have been on a therapeutic path for over 25 years, first for myself, and now to help others. My approach is informed by an MA in Counselling Psychology, and in-depth training in somatic experiencing (SE), somatic psychotherapy, accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy (AEDP) and internal family systems (IFS). I also use acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative and psychodynamic therapies with clients, depending on what is needed. As a result, my approach is holistic and embraces the complexity of being human in body, mind, heart and spirit. In addition, I have years of personal practice with mindfulness, yoga, breathwork, and earth-based spirituality.
Having someone to listen and compassionately invite you into your therapeutic process can be helpful. I know what it is like to experience stress, overwhelm, anxiety, change, loss, grief, and relationship issues. I can help you in that process. Please contact me for a free consultation to see if we may be a good fit.
